My spare battery set up-Little ripper wireless system
This is my spare battery (just in case my Minelab battery goes flat or stop working while detecting).
As i drive 150-200km to go detecting for a day or 2 i have nearly everything in pairs:
Spare coils
Spare leads
Spare batteries for Gps
Spare batteries for head lamp
Spare pick
Spare scoops
Spare boots
Spare clothes in case i get completely soaked on a day trip
Spare battery.
(now have and a spare detector)
There is nothing worse then a drive a couple hundred km for a detecting day out and then not be able to detect due to not having a spare "something".
This little system is really great. Its fantastic feeling not be attached to the detector with the cord.
It works great and its designed to be charged on the car battery(being in he bush). It takes 2-3 hours max to be fully charged and battery last around 10 hours.
The battery is connected to the detector (5 pins). Little ripper box goes to the harness (you can connect speakers or headphones and regulate volume as well)
