hi all

yep a newbie never look for gold. never had the time got to 50yr old time to start
allways wanted to. so me & my son are going up to Nundle nsw for a week have a look around
do some panning, Metal Detector, fishing for the week
pick up of ebay Minelab X Terra 70 see how we go

Blinky50 there is no great master plan involved;
try old workings, ground where the bedrock is close to the surface and any unworked ground where there is little vegetation due to the lack of top soil, for a start. Every time you come home empty handed, you will have learnt something.
But most enjoy the quality time away with your son, you are a lucky man.
