Hi Matt, that's Corindhap but I think you'll find most of that private property these days.

Hi,welcome. I don't know the area but I can tell you how to find any area where you are allowed to go in Victoria.
Go to dpi.vic.gov.au then click earth resources then click geovic down bottem right then annoyomous 3, then click layers now in layers I click tenerments leases/ licences ,crown land , in minerals leads, towns, roads, railway, powerlines while in layers you can add what ever you like. these maps are DPI so you know they are or should be correct. They are hard to understand at first but once you learn how to use are an excellant resource of info.

Hi mike,
I know of some gold coming from that area. I wouldnt bother up toward and cape clear tho as I have never known any good gold to come from cape clear, the adjoining area or the creek there.
good luck

Hey mike.
Im from smythesdale, I dont know of any areas there, But I wouldnt mind catching up for a hunt one day mate, as it can be very discouraging on your own.
