Victoria-Waanyarra Goldfield Area

Hi All

There sounds like alot out there like to Detect in the Waanyarra / Laanecoorie Area as they stay at Jims Laanecoorie Vansite by the lake.

I made up a Google Earth Map with the Geofeatures as overlays and it is Ozi ready to use

Have uploaded it to 4share so you will need to join (it is Free) if you want to download it,map size is 85 MB

I see that the post has been read 91 times yet the map has only had 4 downloads.

Have you had trouble download it ?

Is the area not of interest any more.

Here are some very small snap shots off the map

Changed the third line of Map file.

eg
OziExplorer Map Data File Version 2.2
Vic-Waanyarra GoldFields Area GE-Map.ecw
Vic-Waanyarra GoldFields GE-Map.ecw

Doing this allow me to run from any dir/folder that I unzipped it in.

By the way your projects show a couple of good spots to explore.

I'd love to download the files, but I don't have OZI Explorer Guess I'm going to have to invest in it ... then I'll try to get my head around all of the techie stuff!!

Thanks all the same ... I'm guessing that there will be more people downloading, it's just that we're not all 'techie' (I'm old and decrepid ... and I learn slowly ... but I WILL make the effort to learn!)

There is many out there that have no idea where to look or just unsure of a place to try I posted up the maps for that reason to make it that little more easy of a place to try.

I picked the area as it does have a camp site that many know of and feel safe to move about the bush area have a look at the selection below,it has a reef crossing two gullies and so you have now got 4 slopes of the reef line to look as the gold lead to the Au gullies below.



If you look at John Tully Dunolly Map on page 15 in the middle of the page were it say Common Dumart(Native Marsupial) just to the right of that is the area of my selection.

Just a place to keep in mine if just not sure were to have a look.
