Petition to show support for fossicking in Queensland state forests

We have launched a petition to show the Queensland government the support in the community for fossicking and prospecting in Queensland state forests. We are getting good progress on this issue, but the more support we can show the better an argument we have.
Please promote this in any other forums you may visit if possible, signatures from overseas will reinforce the fact that there tourists wanting to come to Queensland to find gold!

The time has come folks...stand up & be counted. Not only could this open up long time closed areas for all of us...the potential tourism dollars that could also be generated is huge. Remember it was our forebear prospectors that not only saved the state from bankruptcy...but who were largely responsible for our current workers rights...thanks to where it all started at the "Eureka Stockade".
Climb on board...together we can make this happen.
