It now looks even better and who cares if it went the Jenny Craig for a week. I bet some people would like to send their better halfs off and have them return looking like that???
Sorry bro cracking myself up, its already been a long week

Re: An ounce piece no more ....
Teddy Bear, Last photo, I saw that little parrot charachter with his wings outstretched and how appropriate he happens to have a detector strapped to his back ( coil in the air ) Parrot, Teddy or what ever other charachter you can see it's a beaut little lump.

Re: An ounce piece no more ....
I dont know G H,
There is something about the red ironstone contrasting to the bright gold which attracts me to how the piece was originally.
Still an awesome chunk and good Karma is flowing your way.

Re: An ounce piece no more ....
HI GH,
I know its been asked a million times on here, but can you tell me what specific acid your using to clean up so well so soon?
The stuff I use would take months to get half of that ironstone off.
Great work anyway mate and hope the good run continues for a long time.
Cheers

Thanks guys for the comments ,
Just a small tip worth thinking about : " To change an outcome , one must first break old habits " ...
Hi Paul - The acid is plain old brickies acid ( hydrochloric ) from Bunnings . Left the nug soaking in it for 2 days .
