Couple of speccies this arvo ...

Managed to pick out these 2 little speccies this arvo , smashed out all my yard duties around home in record time so the " flower " said i could duck out for a swing if i wanted . Went to a spot not far from home that Morris & myself had picked out some nice speccies & free bits last year .
Cranked the 45`s settings up & detected a line 3mtrs wide x 35 mtrs long between two shallow costeans dug by the old timers . Got a very , very faint signal that kept repeating itself from all angles , dug out a block of quartz just below the surface . The quartz rock measured roughly 300mm x 250 mm round .
Broke it open to find two bits of colour inside ... very happy for 2 hours work ..

Well done Glen. That is something that I've never had happen to me as yet, having to break open a rock and find gold in it. Found speccies with gold showing, but not the way you just did.
