Gold spots near trippple border SA NT WA?

Hey Guys,
Im going on a mission to see some mate to northern SA , (they live near NT/WA/SA crossborders)for a week, was gunna take my detector along and just wondered if it is worth it? dont know if it is gold country and my mates dont either. if anyone could point me in the right direction or has ideas , that would be great,

Have a look on Geoview.

Launch it from this page:

http://www.dmp.wa.gov.au/7113.aspx

Select the Mines and Deposits theme, tick "Roads", "refresh" and zoom in. Gold deposits are yellow triangles. I could see a few deposits east of Warburton.
