albury area
hi all,
due to a change in work area I now travel to Albury once a month.
Rather than just sitting around the club drinking coldies when not on the "clock"
I was wondering is there anywhere I can swing the detector in the area ?
gold coin or relic...I not fussy !
Cheers

Over the border
Check Victoria, south of Albury years ago was a reasonable detecting panning area tucked away in the backblocks you could muck about in. Sorry but I cannot recall the name, was not on the tourist trail at that time. Other members may be of more help. I know they grew Backie around there.

Re: albury area
You might like to visit Eldorado, on the Beechworth - Wangaratta Road. Good panning there in Reedy Creek. It may be flowergold, but it all adds up..
Yackandandah is another option for you, though I haven't had too much luck there myself.
