Yabby pump conversion to crevice sucker.
Been thinking about converting my stainless steel yabby pump to a crevice sucker.
It has good suction but not sure how you would need to modify the end to keep the sand and gravel in.
Anyone solved this problem and want to share...please?

Re: Yabby pump conversion to crevice sucker.
G'day Imadogman!
Onto the sucker end of the Yabby tightly pressure fit a right angle, plastic "L".
Then a "Close Nipple" (as short as possible).
Then another right angle, plastic "L".
As a final - either leave as is, or create various sucker tips (heat one end of a short piece of plastic tubing, somewhat flatten it and pressure fit the other end into the "L")
Suck up the material in the normal way and then, as you withdraw the tip from the crack, rotate the entire Yabby pump so the open end of the last "L" of the new addition is angled upward. The "Zig Zag will stop the loose material from coming back out.
Over your bucket rotate the tip down, allowing the loose material to fall out and into the bucket.
