James 101 and Murachu
Both of the above have left the forum and haven't given us the courtesy of letting us know why. As far as we know both were quite happy with the what the forum provided for them, so there must be other factors involved.
Will let you know further details when we find out ourselves.

G'day
These folk were the main source of inspiration for me to get into this wonderfully ridiculous past time.
I would have no highbanker if not for them
Much respect

Re: James 101 and Murachu
G'day Jeff, and others,
It seems that it is rather transparent why the two gentlemen have left.
They gave freely of their substantial information and experience, and, as would be proper, received thanks from most of the members for their help. However, there was substantial "headwind" from a few members who seemed to have 'agendas'. For whatever reason there was strife - both outright and subtle. Nothing to do with you, Jef, but certainly present.
It has encompassed me as well. There were some (now banned) members who baited, created dissent and made false claims. From my own perspective, Jef, you did admirably to stem the disruptive posts. The problem is, however, there are one or more still "in the wood pile", and they are well entrenched.
The members in question are so entwined with the 'culture' here that they are sacricinct and as untouchable as they are subtle. My humble perspective and position in this problem (rooted in "Yank" thinking I suppose) will just have to 'sink or swim' on it's own.
KAEOJ, Joe S (AK) and often JOE S (INDY) on many other forums, some even in Australia.

Hi from Neale in Biloela Queensland
Hi
I read your post and understand what you are saying.
The song to me represents good Men leaving for WW1and not returning.
I enjoyed all there Posts.
I feel I can in no way stop them leaving the forum so it is my way of thanking them for there valuable information they have submitted.
I have made a great deal of progress in my prospecting.
From the information I have read on this forum.
You were right in the lack of sophistication I show.
I served In the Australian Army for 20 years and suffered servere Head injuries while in active service over seas.
Now days I have a lot of trouble expressing myself as well as I did when I was a Engineer in the Army before I was hurt and was pensioned of to the scrap heap 14 years ago.
I like to have somone say directly to me if they are not happy with me.
…“is particularly irritating to me” your words.
So I will leave it at that
Regards Neale
Something that I should have said before - but was too polite to throw up in the face of Shelby 23:
Sir, your repeated childish and shallow posting of
when good hearted miners like James 101, Murachu (and others) choose (as IS their option) is particularly irritating to me. There is no excuse for childishness and the lack of sophistication that you show every time you use that crappy "ploy".
If you can't get "a real life" here please just go far away to wallow with others who think so shallowly - because the standard here is much higher than you seem to possess.

Re: James 101 and Murachu
G'day Neale,
I humbly stand corrected.
I took your former and current posting the wrong way and, not knowing your situation and history, misunderstood.
I, too, had served with our military - the USAF - for a long time (39 years, 3 months). Revolutions and wars came and went, with years of "training" in between.
In my case I was just used up, got too old to "play the game" anymore and choose to walk away from what used to be the best career I could imagine. Like yourself I was, also, left to twist in the wind with a small pension. You were an engineer and I was an "Ammo Troop" (called "Munitions" by non Ammo Troops). Now, I mine for Gold in the winter months (your winter) and, in the off 5 months, just wait for the return to that mining.
Please accept my sincere apology for a well intentioned, but out-of-line outburst.
I shall now remove my errant words as best as I can.
Joe

Re: James 101 and Murachu
Sad indeed to lose 2 great members. James was always quick onboard to return PM's and often stated, Don't listen to the meaningless replies. James copped bad replies, why I have know idea. Murachu was a tad more aggressive even thou he tried not to show it. My ear still hurts's Murachu "Not"! Hopeful they will return.
Cheers.
Cheers.

Re: James 101 and Murachu
G'day all,
Like Jeff has stated. No warning - no message to admin citing any concerns from either James or Murachu?
Its hard to keep track of all postings I don't know of any bad replies to either James101 or Murachu.
Yes "someday" I hope they return also..
Regards
Paul
