When I was a foreman for a civil company I used to let the guys take all of the scrap copper/brass/lead and then they would cash it in at the end of every month, they never had to buy any beer/spirits out of thier own pocket after it was cashed.

When going boating, Don't forget to tighten the prop nut? Why aren't we moving Because you didn't tighten the prop nut you twit

Your right Pete, Sovereign went into overload, Prop was 20 inches plus down. Also found the motor remains a bit further along the beach. Talking to a local what i found was a cutter that had been wrecked in a storm and dragged onto the beach.

G'day Someday, I dont doubt that it has happened before, Just like the story a friend told me about his nurse friend, She finished work after 11pm, went & got into her car, Started it up & chucked it into gear & went no-where. On further examination the 4 wheels were gone & the car was on wooden blocks. Not sure what this has got to do with detecting. Nothing i suppose except that i could detect them if the thief had hidden them on the beach.

Cool Badboybilly, Post up a pic of your finds, I would love to go and detect one of the popular city beaches as i am hanging to find a good quality ring ( all i have found in rings so far is costume jewelry ). Not into fishing like i am detecting but i did catch my first Mulloway the other week when we went to the Head of the Great Australian Bight fishing , Took my detector also & got a lot of sinkers & around $6.20 change from the camp spots.
