Re: MY NEW SLUICE
Thats one serious set up.
There is a thread on the forum somewhere that tells you the best angles for the rifles, matting etc.
Edit:- The thread, https://golddetecting.forumotion.net/t6098-sluicing-for-fine-fine-fine-gold

Re: MY NEW SLUICE
Hi Brickie. No1 problem I see, is your hopper is wider than your sluice! You will lose a lot of water and possibly gold before it goes down your sluice, Not to mention a very slushy work area? Fix that in my opinion.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Re: MY NEW SLUICE
Andywho …. Nice thinking mate it looks good but I feel you may encounter a few problems whit your hopper, Someday is right with his comment. My first question is how high will the hopper be sitting if above shoulder hight you will soon tier of it. Why make extra work by lifting your wash higher than needed. My next question would be about the piping setup, they seem like they may restrict your feed rate. You may have been better off keeping them hard against the walls with the jetting angled into the hopper. The jetting holes look to be by far too big 1/8” holes spaced at around an inch apart would work great. My last question is about where you clean the hopper out, the opening dose not seem large enough. Just my thoughts.
Cheers
