Little Coiltek Mono Choices? Empty Little Coiltek Mono Choices?

I'm in the market for a mono "get in the tight spots" coil.
Of the two Coilteks, 5"X10" Joey or 6" Sniper, which would you use and why?

/Cool username btw. The Joey is a good coil (and extremely popular) but it's a slightly older design and has been around long enough to attract the appreciation of a lot of SD/GP users. The 6" Mono Coiltek Goldstalker coil is the ideal sniper-coil out of the two (in my opinion). I own and use one on my 4500. If you wanted a coil that would allow you the ability to search areas of ground with, the larger surface area of the Joey coil is going to be more attractive to you. Since you say the coil is for "getting into the tight spots", I'd suggest the 6" coil since it's small enough that the field emission is particularly dense. It very easily picks up the subgram bits and is super sensitive. It's aimed at the GPX but owners of other models enjoy using them.

The last time I took this coil out it found rice-grain targets and smaller...in bedrock cracks and hot, dry soil.

I'm sure someone with a Joey can chime in here and offer some feedback. Would help is we knew what detector you're using.

Cheers!

OR look at a NuggetFinder 5x10" mono coil, as I have one and super sensitive. Now the Advantage one might be out already or is coming out soon.
