Thornton gold Empty Thornton gold

Gday all Ive spent the last couple of weeks fighting fires in NE Victoria with CFA and while I was away the prospector in me was still active I noticed a great looking area a place called Cathederal Ridge near Thornton and Taggerty has anyone heard anything about these area's gold prospects lots of clear areas to detect in any help would be great.Thanks Dave

Hi Dave,
as promised, here is the info:
a fair bit of gold found in this district, mostly alluvial in the creeks and rivers but some gully workings here and there too...
Namely, the Delatite river, Snobs ck, Dry ck, Acheron (swamp ck) and a sh*tload of other locations (many of them very rich) towards Alexandra and Yea. Many reefs were later discovered that had very payable returns too. So, to cut a long story short.....what you saw was right, it is gold country!!! I'll show you the names and locales when I see you.
