Loving the new upgrade to GPX4000 Empty Loving the new upgrade to GPX4000

Just upgraded from a GPextreme to GPX4000, so what did I do? Went to visit an old patch. Went over a few old mullocks that have produced in the past but no luck. I then moved to an area I have avoided in the past due to the insane amount of rubbish. This area encroaches on the above mentioned old patch. I looked around, marked out an area of about 10 x 10 metres and decided to remove all the rubbish. First target was a screamer, "has to rubbish I thought". As I sifted the gravel through my hands.....bang, felt this large slug drop into my palm. 14.4grams and was only about 2" deep. I have frequented this area on countless occasions before with my prospecting mate who was unfortunately not able to come along today. He is gunna shoot me when I tell him where it was, directly beneath where he usually parks his car Laughing

Well done mate. Smile
I spend time cleaning out rubbish in the places close to areas that have produced...
Very profitable habit to get in to.

TYF,
Fantastic find - great patience needed for that. I need to do it in a couple of spots I know, but I always find an excuse to do it "next time".

Back to the little patch....not as impressive as 14grams but enough to keep me interested well and truely. 0.5grams and a 0.1gram sunbaker.

well done!

have you tried raking the patch, then using all your different coils over the area.

there should be more around.

good luck!
