Whats a good digital camcorder for the goldfields

I've used my gopro on EVERYTHING, planes, cars, bikes, bush. Works great and has external jack for microphone, Sealed case for high wind, rough treatment, under water & an skeleton back for protection but better sound.

The GoPro Hero 3 PLUS is now on the streets, and apparently has fixed some of the audio issues. Has to be the pick of the crop in my opinion if you just want to buy something off the shelf, with heaps of info from users, and sexy marketing to go with it. May not be the best camera technically but a lot of raving fans out there. Ive nudged the family to think about my Bday coming up!
