actually very enjoyable to watch a mini doco like that. Thats a good insight into where and how the gold is found and what elements have to be endured to get it. I liked it

Thanks for posting & Good to see a vid on S.A. , I can even relate to the lingo !, It does interest me to give it a go in our outback & the areas he is detecting. I do intend giving it a crack in a bit more style than out the back of the ute though, ( Stay out there for weeks at a time ). Heading over West in early May for 3-4 months, Count down is on !

Good video pete , nice to see some SA gold for a change , must be a fair bit of gold still out there with all that salt bush, wouldn't think that area has been too thrashed.
Hope your lad has a back up in case of vehicle breakdown you wouldn't want to try and walk out in that kind of country.
Anyway well done and a well deserved beer.

Fortunately Pete is one of the best bushy's i know of out there, so i never worry bout him being alone
and out places like that, besides there is water and a station within short 5klm tramp of most
gold areas in aus, i used to go out that place with him but now i'm diggin up WA yeller.
