what an opportunity

Brian & myself would like to sincerely thank Manny "The Golden Child " for giving us the opportunity to work his patch & hope to return the favour soon , you are definitely the talk around our campfire & will continue to be for a very long time - champion brother thanx again !!!!!
Now for the nugget count , combined tally for myself & Bri was 23 nuggets ( that was for friday & sat ) ,
Bri pinged 8 & i pinged 15. ( total tally including Mannys finds 32 nuggets )
The combined weight was 13 grams on the dot ,
Bri 3.4 grams & myself 9.6 grams. ( the biggest piece was still the one i got on fri @ 1.6 gms , the smallest 0.2 gms ).
We stayed till dark on fri & was back on the patch before sun up saturday morning , the prospector we met on friday turned up a little too late on saturday morning as he thought we werent coming back to the patch , i said to him as he was walking up " sleep in did we bro " , he laughed & we chewed the fat for 15 mins ... told him we were going to be on the patch all day & after that he was welcome to it .
4 vehicles came thru on saturday & 2 of them starting detecting either side of us ( like f#*!$n vultures circling the outside just waiting ) any way we left just before dark - happy that we worked it the best we could ...
Great day out on fri with Mannys company & best two days for me & the old fella ... thanx again Manny ( will post up a few vids of some of the digs when i get them loaded up )

Wow, Well done Bro, Very nice looking nuggets, So what you had claim jumpers there as well Bro? I never had that, that someone turned up while working a patch, even saying that I have lots of cars go by and slow down to see what I was up to( maybe to put a way point in their GPS) I don't think its fair that if your on a patch that people just turn up like that, they should stay at least out of koowee range. Anyway well done.

Well done bro, pass on my congrats to Brian as well, you guys did an awesome job out of that small patch. 32 nuggets about 20 grams all up with my bits and almost evenly divided between the 3 of us, couldn't have worked out any better. No need to thank me, no favours owed, I was fortunate enough to have great company out bush on Friday and thrilled to meet "the smiling assassin" and was wrapped you guys did well on my patch, spread the "wealth" bro, as I've mentioned on another topic on this forum I don't mind sharing with mates, might end up with slightly less gold but end up with a hell of a lot of good mates.
Told you the locals would be out there next day, especially the one that saw the nugg come out, good to see you guys beat them to it. Can't wait for the vids, need another dose of the "smiling assassin".

Days like that are rare where everyones on high pulling nuggets. Must have been great to be there.. Well done guys.
Pitty about the vultures. Places like that should be worked (if possible) during the week when min. traffic is about. Anyway sounds like you cleaned up pretty well,

Thanks alot guys , i will try & help anyone that wants a hand where i can - no problem .. Every time i go out with more experienced & knowledgeable people like Manny & Johnny i always listen with keen ears to what they are saying . My old man always said to me if you want to be good at what you do then " shut your mouth , watch & listen " its worked for me with all the challenges i have taken on in my life... & it is healthy to share what you know..
