I was at Windeyer this weekend and stayed in the little van park there....EXCELLENT!!!
$8 a night for an unpowered site, a few bob more for a powered one, undercover cooking areas, great showers and clean dunnies. Plus you can have a camp fire.
It also sports a well stocked general store and a pub next door with brilliant meals.
There is a small creek at the rear of the camp grounds loaded with yabbys. I snagged 6 large ones in under 10 minutes with one of my stinky old socks stuffed with a sausage.

I would highly reccommend this park for anyone looking for a decent camp ground accessable to Mudgee, Windeyer, Avisford, Hargraves or even HillEnd.
