Not much luck

Been touring around Vicco , Tried my luck in Arrat, Maryborough , Maldon , now in Castelamaine . Hope to find something around here. I have the SDC 2500 , It's great at finding junk.

Teatree, I can see your problem as soon as I read your post. You are using a SDC2500. Minelab don't make a SDC2500, they make a SDC2300. Yours must be a junk detector. LOL.

Keep at it, you're finding plenty, just not gold. It will turn up at some stage. One thing I don't see are pellets. You should be finding heaps of them. Maybe you should detect a bit further away from the old rifle range.

Perseverance and research are the key ingredients to success, and being a tin A*s* helps.
