Electric ride on mowers
My old ride on petrol mower [ aka the beast ] is 30 yrs old and is held together with
extra bolts, braces and lots of welds, it's coming to the end of its life
Question is; has anyone got one of those new rechargeable ride on's?? or do you have a friend that has one -are they happy with it?
The thought of no petrol, oil, plugs, air filters or belts is a big temptation.
I'm on a third of an acre so electric is doable, any feed back appreciated.
cheers moredeep

Re: Electric ride on mowers
I also am thinking about one of these machines. Have had a gut full of petrol fumes, noise, starting probs, blocked air filters etc. and the missus is never too pleased when I start the Mass Sport up after she has hung the washing out to dry.
Here is a bit of info on Aussie elec mowers.

I reckon that there hasn't been enough time for a substantial review on them?
I'll keep the beast going for as long as possible before I sent it off to the knackery, but I think this rainy season and the vigorous growth will be it's demise
Thanks for the info.
