Looking for a few prospecting tips, have goldmonster 1000

Hi all,
I am in Coolgardie at the moment with new minelab gold monster 1000.
Would be great to catch up with someone who could give me some pointers. Have been bush for a few days but still unsure how to get the best results.
I am travelling around the Goldfields, currently in Coolgardie soon to go to Southern Cross then meander up to Meekatharra.
Please let me know if you have the time to catch up and do a little prospecting.
I have a 4wd, off road caravan and tent, if needed,

I've not used a goldmonster so I'm not sure how it will handle the WA soils and hot rocks?
Hopefully someone will guide you in the best types of detector for those area's and have some handy hint's for the monster.
