Amazing news, considering the length of time elapsed since her abduction.

Best outcome ever.
I wonder if somebody will claim the reward?...You would think that the positive result would be reward enough.

The biggest reward is that the culprit is caught.

The cops have already weaselled out of having to cough up the million by stating that no specific information was responsible for the solving of the case. (what did you expect)

Re: Cleo Found Alive And Well
Saw on TV this morning an interview with a 20+ Aboriginal lad that he saw the man in question buying nappies in a local supermarket and he thought that was unusual. Maybe if he had mentioned that to the police ( in front of witnesses) that he would be able to claim some of the $1m. In hindsight, If he thought about the situation he would probably regret his in action. (and so would I in the same circumstances)

Re: Cleo Found Alive And Well
I saw an interview with a young bloke at the scene and I thought he was a bit "High"
Fidgeting, nervy, scratching his arms and hands, edgy speech etc. He may end up being interviewed by police anyway, along with other people in the same street.

Police offering reward money is no skin off their nose as it is a Government funded reward. (Tax payer funded).
To be eligible to claim a reward, any info from the public has to lead directly to the solving of the crime.
It does appear that numerous people were aware of the strange actions of the bloke apprehended in the days prior to his arrest but did not connect the dots, so to speak.

With the intense media coverage given to this and more-so in and around Carnarvon - even the local stray dogs and cats would have known about it, I find it somewhat hard to comprehend how they didn't 'connect the dots.' How could you not?
Person who is known to live alone, quiet, rarely speaks to neighbours, rarely seen. Suddenly is out and about, buying nappies etc. Widespread coverage of a child being missing in both media and locally via flyers, posters, stickers etc. Someone must have had an inkling or a thought "Something is going on here" and reported the sudden change in behaviour to police given that there was a missing child.
No-one did. But when the cameras roll up they are more then keen to provide their account of events and get a few seconds of screen-time.
