Perished cords 0n coils
Hi does any body know where I can have new cords put on my coils they have perished I am in Logan Queensland thanks Shane.

Shane its not an easy job I've done a few think if you have a favorite coil send it back to the manufacturer or just buy a good used one it may be cheaper.

Shane how bad is it perished, if the coil still works you could try some heavy Heatshrink ,you can also get Heatshrink that is adhesive inside that does a very good job. You would need to remove the lead from either the coil or the connector on the other end, i don`t know which is the easiest, someone here may know.

Hi Shane. The simple and easiest way to fix them up is to buy some 7mm split wire conduit from supercheap or autobarn and stuff the perished cable inside. It is a bit fiddly, but you don't need to cut or solder anything just put some electrical tape at each end to secure it.
I just did it with a sovereign coil and the results are pictured.
