Re: Electric Cars
Blimey I missed all the fun. I have been tecting at Narooma & Broulee today.
Some real heavy replies aye. Too bad The climate is going to change no matter what we do....Wind power, solar energy, Nuclear, Thermal , coal, steam, wood, batteries, whatever, the climate is going to change just like it has done many, many times from the very beginning of this planet. We either adapt or we fade away. and smaller more resilient critters will survive because they do not need as much food as we do and they have no interest in going to the moon or Mars or watching TV or playing computer games and stuff.

Yes the climate has always changed but for the first time man is now the major driving force in changing the climate.

Re: Electric Cars
So Adrian, during the time you spent searching under the climate, how did you go, any luck?

Re: Electric Cars
Found nothing of significance Kon, The beaches that I went to were clean except for a few bottle caps, bobby pins (not many) al foil and some noisy sea weed/ kelp. Used the EQ 600 and the Vallon VMH3CS. Both are no brainers to operate and work well over the wet sand.
Wanted to do Narooma Bar Beach but twas a bit crowded so gave it a miss. Fairly strong undertow at bar beach so anything small lost there at the low water line would likely be dragged out to deeper water. Hope to get back there for a few days in the near future.

Re: Electric Cars
I would prefer relying on human power than electricity, and this is only a 4 wheel, 4 seater bike. Obviously has a flywheel to store some built-up energy, but the weight of that would be a disadvantage for going up hills. Two & 3-wheel hand-operated recliner bikes have been around for some time and they are often used by people with a handicap that doesn't allow them to use their feet.
