noisy 3500 Empty noisy 3500

G'day everyone. I have a 3500 that sounds like it is in Auto tune constantly. Have tried different coils, unplugging the smart point and manually tuning. Also different battery leads. The funny thing is is that it will still pick up targets on the ground.
Anyone have any ideas?

Dave it hasnt been used for somewhere between 3-5 yrs so not sure as it is a mates. spoke to daryl at minelab this morning he says to try a new battery and see how that goes. minelab dont really look at these old detectors anymore.
there was people on the forum that fixed older detectors, was it mechanic?
is ismael still doing repairs does anyone know?
