X-Coils for GPX reviews , any?
Just wondering if anyone has done any reviews on the gpx x-coils and how they compare with the nuggetfinder evo coils. Any feed back is appreciated...

X coils for GPX
I have found X coils to be brilliant on both GPX and QED. I have used the 12" x 6" hybrid winding as well as the 10" and 15" spiral wound on both detectors. What is noticeably different to other coils is the smoothness of operation, enabling 'hotter settings to be used.
They are expensive, but in my opinion worth the extra. There is no going back to the others for me.

Re: X-Coils for GPX reviews , any?
It's all about the price Reg.
We have a saying in our house hold about being an ARKRIGHT [RONNIE BARKER IN OPEN ALL HOURS]
That's being; very frugal with your money that borders on sillyness as Arkright was in that show.
We constantly amuse ourselves about being thrifty/tight #rses
I suppose when my coiltek goes bung,I will consider one, thanks for the update

moredeep, the way I look at it, is that the gold price being what it is, makes it a not so difficult task to pay for the X coil with the extra gold it will produce, especially over ground that has previously produced, and has the potential to have more gold in a slightly deeper situation.

Re: X-Coils for GPX reviews , any?
I know I know It makes sense Reg; it's just the arkright/tight #rse in me.
I'll go to a petrol station that is 2 cents cheaper than the other just to save a one dollar it's stupid I know.
I think my mother installed the tight #rse gene in me,she was born in 1929,a penny saved is a penny earned she'd say.
I will seriously consider an x coil next.

Rege thanks for your expert opinion on this subject...seems most of the reviews regarding x-coils have been with the gpz 7000. Phrunt over at another forum has spoken favorable about them. As I have never upgraded to a zed and still enjoy swinging my older model 4500 I was looking to upgrade to an x-coil hoping to hit my old patches. Hopefully in the future a side by side comparison would be done as IMHO it would sell more x-coils for the company.

California, there is a bit of a problem getting X coils at the moment due to the COVID 19 situation. Hopefully things will be resolved soon.

Have a look at davsgold post. At the bottom of his signature block is the link for x-coils. I believe he is the agent for them.mond wrote:just want to know where to buy a 10in one any help please
