Amazing what you find when cleaning out the old puta.
Caught the "gold fever" second trip to Chesterfield/Meekatharra with this little beauty, two species that gave up 40+grams.
$600+ machine that began a new gold rush around the world. (Had forgotten coils were loops back then)

I got one of those back in 1980 too. Found a good amount of gold with it before I got a the Whites Goldmaster. Both were the the best available in the 1980

Garrett Deepseeker Empty Deep Seeker

I still have my Garret Deep Seeker that was bought new in 1980 it has been a good detector for many years, are there any mods for them, or are they just too old tech to bother. I replaced it with an SD2000 which also is now too old Tech apparently. It's hard to keep up.

Thanks for walk down memory lane on the old Garret ADS though.
