Headphone repairs
My much loved Black Widow headphones have stopped working. Does anyone know of anybody in Victoria who would be able to repair them for me?

Re: Headphone repairs
Take them apart carefully by prising the ear pad pieces from the body. If you look you will see where the two parts join. You will find a break in one of the wires probably where it enters the body and caused by continual bending at that point. The break may be hidden beneath the insulation so it is easiest to desolder the wire from its attachment point and cut the wire back to before the point it entered the body. Probably best to use a fine point on a 12v soldering iron. Have a go it is dead easy and if it happens again while you are in the bush, you will feel confident to fix them.

Thanks for the help
Sorry for the delay. I temporarily lost my easy way of accessing the forum.
I like to thank both Johnno481 for his reply and Axtyr (for a private message) in regard to the problem.
Very helpful and will give Johnno481's suggestion a try and keep Axtyr's offer in mind.
