Project overload?
I've been busy, but not as busy as I'd like to be. I use every spare minute, weekend, night, whatever I can scrape together, to get my projects done and I'm still not satisfied! I have so much more planned. Here's some I've completed or in the middle of still.
Re: Project overload?
Some amazing works of art there Baz, along with your own built observatory Truly one talented man indeed. Well done.

Re: Project overload?
Thanks Kon. My, "Silly projects" ended up getting me a job, where I now teach blacksmithing, knife making and metal sculpture.
Re: Project overload?
That is some fine Damascus forged, knife craftsmanship Baz.
Members, please take note; It is not illegal to buy/sell/or have in possession a knife, less it falls outside "Australian knife laws", governing the buying/selling/carrying, or intended use of knives in ones possession.

Re: Project overload?
Thanks guys. All my knives are legal. I don't do double edged, swords, daggers or trench knives. You could possess any one of mine with no licence in any state of Australia.

Re: Project overload?
I've been working on a nifty design lately. My MkII Colonial Viper 1:1 build is on hold at the moment while I build a new hangar/workshop for it. In the mean time, I keep myself amused with smaller projects.
I got the idea that a fighter pilot often carries a combat/survival knife in case he crashes in enemy territory. The Viper pilots in the Battlestar Galactica show appear to carry no knife. Never mind, Baz is a practical sort of guy and ex army, and just happens to be a blade smith.
I thought it would be cool to design a combat knife for a Viper pilot, using angles, lines, form and colours from the Mk II Colonial Viper itself.
Here it is so far. I have a lot to do to it yet, before finishing all the surfaces.
