I've got 2 Commander DD coils which have stopped working. When I wiggle the cord about 75/100 mm above the coil they regain a threshold noise and register on targets until I release the cord ,then they go dead again. I took the 12"x 15" to Bendigo Gold, and was told it couldn't be repaired. If it's just a broken wire, couldn't that be fixed? Can the coils be opened up, and a new cord soldered on. Any advice would be appreciated\. xmas tree
