Nugget Finder coil
I am looking for any information good or bad on the 12 x 8 nugget finder evo coil. There is not much information that I can find so anything is appreciated. I do have the 17 x 13 nf evo and would't trade it for anything. Thank you in advance for any response

Re: Nugget Finder coil
All the EVO coils are fantastic !
Better than anything else that has ever been on the market, with the exception of the Coiltek Elite series, maybe !

Re: Nugget Finder coil
Hi I have one of these and have used it a couple of times at Tibooburra. I think it is a really good coil and would find gold almost as small as the SDC 2300. I think it is a very small amount noiser than the NF 14x9 but not enough to be any kind of a problem. It is pretty much my choice for the 5000 at Tib. Although the 14x9 is a also a real winner. I lean toward the 12x8 if the gold is smaller and the 14x9 everywhere else. if you are in micro dot teritory such as the common or easter monday up at Tib then an SDC 2300 is better, but not by a lot. Even there I have to think about it somewhat before choosing the 2300, but still use the 5000 often.
On the 5000 I like to run it as quiet as I can get it which means I have to fiddle with it a bit more than I do with the 14x9.
Both are good, in the real small stuff I ues the 10x8.
Hope you catch a few,

Re: Nugget Finder coil
Hi again Tom, I have a 17x13 Evo also but for me it gets a little heavy after 8 or 9 hours of actual detecting time. Actually the 14x9 gets a bit heavy too at times. One of the good things about the 10x8 is that it does not get heavy later in the day. I really appreceate that lack of weight. I have found the 17x13 to be great even on most little bits. Odd that.
