Lannecoorie Gold Bash 2018

The Laanecoorie Gold bash 2018 is just a bit over 8 weeks time (5th to 7th of October) we are looking for nominations to be put forward for this years Jim Stewart Memorial Trophy. This trophy is award in memory of Jim Stewart, in appreciation of his efforts and advice given to those who asked, without wanting anything in return, but a kind word, a warm smile and maybe a VB or two, to be shared around a campfire. If you know of anyone that fits in to that criteria and you think that he or she is worthy to be nominated please contact me personally with a few words explaining the reason for this person to be put forward for nomination. "DO NOT NOMINATE ANYONE ON THE OPEN FORUM" please as the winner will be announced at the Bash and will be kept as a surprise until the announcement on the night. All nominated names will go before the committee for final selection. You can nominate more than one person if you wish.

If you haven't gone to the Bash before, do yourself a favour and if your around that weekend, drop in and say "Gday" there will be heaps of stalls and plenty of info to be had, there is lots of activities, there will also be a Auction on Saturday night. All monies raised will be going to The "Peter Mac cancer research"                                                                                                                                                                       I will be there so if you want any gold poured into a gold bar I will only happy to help out for just $10 a pour, or if you just want to watch how its done. There will also be 2 gold buyers there, so if you want to sell some gold for cash, bring it along.   So hope to see you guy's there, it will be nice to catch up.

Does anybody know if they are having an auction again this year?
If so does anybody have a list of what is being auctioned?
