Gold Prospecting Australia Laanecoorie Gold Bash 2013
Hi All,
Just received this wonderful letter from one of our foundation sponsors and thought you all might like to share in it as it was all of you who made this wonderful event such a success.
We would like to say a big thankyou to the organisers of the Gold Bash for once again inviting us to take part. This is the third year that we have been involved. Unfortunately for the last two years we have only been able to donate items and tour vouchers, and not be there in person, due to the Victorian tours that we have had scheduled at those times. This year we had lots of notice, so we could keep the dates free, and what a great weekend it was!
We consider ourselves to have the best job in the world, the bush is our office and we get to meet so many wonderful people. Those at the Gold Bash were no exception.
Throughout the weekend we ran three training sessions, with each detecting person paying $80 directly into our fundraising envelope, to go in full, to the Peter Mac Charity on the Sunday afternoon.
What great groups of people we had, a mixture of beginners being trained with our 5000s, as well as those being trained with their own 4000s, 4500s and 705s. There were several pieces of gold found throughout the sessions. Most of the nuggets were found by people who had never found gold before; some were newbies, and some were people who had been detecting for many months without success. We also had one couple using their new 5000 for the first time, and they were delighted to christen their machine with a lovely half gram piece of Laanecoorie Gold.
Seeing clients that we have trained find their first, or their 100th piece of gold, is so rewarding for us. We always say that the enjoyment of prospecting is all about getting out the bush, keeping fit, making new mates, any gold you find is a bonus! All of those who joined us for a training session told us that they had learnt so much, and were pleased to be raising money for such a good charity.
We are looking forward to next year’s Gold Bash, and would love to offer our services again.

Re: Gold Prospecting Australia Laanecoorie Gold Bash 2013
As a person who did a training with Mark and Rhonda 2 years ago i can only say the best about this couple and their business.
I was little bit unfortunate as that year i wanted to do a fully cater tour of WA with them and they did only tag along since then.
The way they approach the training and everything in general about detecting is a top class.
I also found a nugget on their day training tour in Bendigo.
Such a wonderful people.I want to say a big thanks to them to find time and sponsor the event.
Looking forward to see you again soon and its always nice to have a little chat.
