with Mark and Ronda Hyde
Each session is for different types of detectors
Session 1 Saturday morning is for Minelab GP/GPX series machines and we have our GPX 5000s and SDC 2300 machines available to use. (you can also bring your own Minelab machine)
Session 2 Saturday afternoon is for Minelab GP/GPX series machines and we have our GPX 5000s and SDC 2300 machines available to use. (you can also bring your own Minelab machine)
Session 3 Sunday morning is for coin and relic machines (any make or model) as well as those who have their own Garrett ATX machines. We have the Minelab CTX 3030, Minelab X-Terra and Minelab E-Trac machines available to use.
We are Licensed Parks Tour Operators, and have all the necessary permissions and permits for all our detecting areas.
We have a Tourist Fossicking Authority, and this means that when you are with us for your training session, you do not need a Victorian Miners' Right, you are covered by our Fossicking Authority.
Each session is $90 per person, cash only (no charge for non detecting partners)
This is a discounted rate for Laanecoorie Gold Bash participants.
This price includes the use of a Minelab detector (you choose which one you would like to use), all accessories and expert tuition in prospecting and metal detecting.
If you have your own machine that you require training with, the price is only $75 per person detecting, cash only (no charge for non detecting partners)
***Due to limited places only one session per person is available for booking sorry***
There are 5 detecting places available for each of the Saturday sessions, and only 4 detecting places available for the Sunday morning session.
This is a hands on detecting experience, just like all our training days. Non detecting partners are welcome to come along, as well as other family members (we love kids!) You will receive lots of one on one tuition and have the use of the detector, for the whole session after a short demonstration of technique.
All our detecting areas are accessible by 2WD.

Gold Prospecting Australia's Very Generous Donation
Mark and Ronda Hyde from Gold Prospecting Australia are very pleased to donate one of their 2015 WA Tag Along tours to the fund raising auction
for the Peter Mac Foundation.
The lucky bidder can choose from one of our two 2015 Western Australian Tours.
These tours are running out of Halls Creek in the Kimberlies, on Gold Prospecting Australia own private leases.
All of GPA's six 2015 Outback tours are completely full (they booked out in just one day when the dates and destinations were released in August).
This auction is the only way you can secure a place on one these much sought after tours.
A place has been exclusively kept for a lucky Laanecoorie Bash bidder!
The prize is for a tag a long tour, for one detectorist and their non detecting partner, valued at $1300.
A 4WD is essential.
Full details about our WA tours can be found at, www.goldprospectingaustralia.com.au on the 2015 tours page.
So bring your cheque book and bid hard for a great cause.
