The SP steelphase audio enhancement system
I must point out that whilst I have no qualms about the company selling it or its proprieter ,and the advertised fact that it is made in Australia i'm interested in any body using it ,there opinion .The 3 stage filtering has pricked my curiosity ,the ability to simply flick a switch / dial when detecting in variable ground ,rather than change timings /audio on my 5k with a 14'' elite ,those spurious slight /moans / groans that are often small in area on my ground which is highly magnetic ,rather than heavy ironization . Thanks in advance .

Why don't you ask the guy that makes them.
As far as I know, the filters are there for filtering out EMI and adjusting to ground conditions.
I'm not too sure on this but Nenad from Phase Technical is the seller and tester of these units.

I am using it, after many years that I was using the BZ, I am very happy with it in conjunction with the new stereo headphones from Nenad Lonic at Phase Technical.

steel phase
I have 2 steel phase units. One on my sdc and one on my 5000, I am happy with both of them, I found on the sdc it works very well and target response is very, very sharp. The same response on my 5000. I dont use the filters on either machine as I find they only quieten the target and threshhold down, With the emi the filter quietens down with the treshhold and target response. I am happy to run both with out the filters.

Re: The SP steelphase audio enhancement system
I have been using a steel phase since the gold bash on a 4500 and it is one of the best amp / filter I have used , I run the volume under 5 and the first thing I noticed I had to turn the threshold back, I have used many other boosters over 36 plus years detecting and this is a top amp ,I have nothing to do with the seller or maker regards john
