Found a nugget
1.61 grams, I found it today with my GPX-5000 in the golden triangle, at about 4-6 inches. Coiltek Mono Elite 14 inch, only second time I've used this coil, pretty happy with it.

Well done Onthehunt.
It's great to find anything over a gram these days. Keep it up.

Thanks. I paid $4500 for the GPX-5000 from Doug at Coiltek Maryborough a bit over a year ago, second hand. I've since bought two more coils for it. In regards to depth, the deepest target I've found was a horse shoe at about 2 feet deep. Depth depends on the target, the bigger the target the more depth it can be found out. Where as a tiny little target (match head size) would probably only be detectable to about a foot or so, depending on ground conditions.

Re: Found a nugget
Good on ya & well done onthehunt. Mastering the capabilities of ones detector, coupled to ground time & the gold finds will follow.
Cheers Kon.
