How do you ship your gold?
Just going through the processes and this is one thing I'm not sure of... what is the preferred secure method of shipping placer gold to a buyer (refinery)? How about gold ores?

Re: How do you ship your gold?
I have not sold much gold but what I have sold I bunged into a cardboard box and sent it to the Perth Mint registered and insured and labled the box Mineral specimens. .......Ask the refinery how they prefer it to be packed....Check with your post office or maybe use a courier.

I called PW Becks and they mailed me an airbag fully insured for its contents and about a week later put the coin into my bank, as easy as that, what ya see in my profile pic is 10 of the 12oz's I sent, 4,3,2 & 1oz buttons had to have a play with it before it left

a fairly seamless process, I am not sure of the mints arrangement, I don't believe Australia Post will carry gold, best check that yourself with them.
