I prospect (unsuccessfully) out my way, but have found a few nuggets up in Beaufort , so I'm not a complete noob...not far from it though.
I'd love to find someone to explore Walhalla and Tanjil with if there is anyone interested?

Also, and maybe I should post this elsewhere but, I know detectors are different for the U.S and Aussie market. I know a U.S detector wouldn't work here in OZ, but would my minelab gt extreme work in their soil?

G'day Jeremy. Welcome to the forum.

Your Minelab GP Extreme, is more than capable of working on/over USA soil/rock environments. The key here, is in understanding what best coil/timing combination to use, over the type of ground you intend prospecting in/over. Any detector specifically designed for Australian, mineralised, soil conditions, should just about work anywhere.
