hi guys just wondering whether or not anyone else is having trouble with their 23s ive just sent min back to m/lab as it got to the stage where i coudn,t use it ,it got that noisy ,ie loud shrieks and squeals, just like it was getting lots of emi ,then it became extremely touch sensitive if you touched a small rock or blade of grass ,i got to the stage of wanting to wrap the bloody thing around th nearest tree.has any body else experienced this at all ?

Re: very noisy sdc2300
hi Trip, I just had mine done at Minelab, I got a new shaft, coil, repairs to the arm rest and a couple of bits inside. It is a world of difference now. Finding lots of little bits again. Minelab did a spot on job.

well guys the honeymoon is over i knew it was too good to be true ,just sent the noisy b#$%@#d back to minelab today ,went out on the w/end and the shrieks and screams came back with a vengance, only mine was playing merry hell 3 other 23s were purring like kittens .I actually think the fault is in the electronics as soon as it warms up away she goes, not having a lot of luck lately, bought another brand new machine 4weeks ago stuffed right out of the box,and thanks to darren from LUCKY STRIKE minelab replaced the faulty one with another machine glw found her first piece with it on friday afternoon oh well cheers al

***********Statistically anything that is mass produced..........1 in 40 is faulty and 1 in 1,000 is useless.
