Bazooka highbanker at work
Gday guys finally tested my bazooka highbanker and it worked pretty well. Was able to clear a full 20L bucket in 2-5 minutes depending on the material being sluiced. With a few adjustments to the spray bar could speed that up too. Caught some nice gold from a small mullock heap from super fine to small picke

Hi RS ,
I'd like to hear more of what you are doing
the poor response you have received is caused by the limited type of prospectors on this site , most just use detectors only .
Good Luck
Jack .

Re: Bazooka highbanker at work
Gday guys I have been a little slow in finishing washing the concentrates right off but I did see some nice pieces will post pictures soon. I basically set my sluice up next to a flooded mine and had it recirculating back into it whilst running a mullock heap through it. Was my first time trialling the highbanker and have some good ideas to improve it to get better and more even flow.

Have walked a few K's in, along and around this area. Have you ever seen it in flood Jen? Last time we did was after the floods of 95' was running a banker.
Nope haven't seen it in full flood, haven't seen it with water.
Have seen the debris up high in the trees

Can only imagine what it would be like... Don't think i want to be camped on the wrong side of this creek when it does happen..
Would never get out again.

Hmmmmmm no wonder we can't find any gold.. You beat us too it

That is a good show of gold for only 2 hours you done will
. I did read on one of the American gold forums TreasureNet.com that the bazooka gold sluice works best if the water is above the grizzly bars sum thing to do with the baffle in the Fluid Bed but yours seems to catching gold just fine. Keep use updated on any improvements will done.
