Howdy Mark, I saw a half gram piece that was found found in low min, with 4500 on 8" mono. About 3" deep. good signal.

on low min, with a 11" or 12" sensitive mono, at a guess, max depth would be about 11- 12" on half gram in best conditions

Deepest 1/2g piece I've found with an 11" mono was about 5"{?} and about 3" with a 16"nf mono ..Not saying the 4500 couldn't go deeper . This is just my experience so far ....I'm guessing a tiny little coil may punch deeper on the tiddlers..Damp soil makes a diff on these little bits....cheers

Thanks, Ayounomad, its been a few days since i've been online as some lovely people gave me a dose of bankerfox 'a' virus and have been getting virus removed.Another 100 down the tube. The lovely person would be talking a few tones higher if I get hold of them.Be interesting to see what sort of depth the guys have achieved with a small, say 6" would be. From the sounds about 5 in seems to be it with a larger coil, regards mark
