Hi mick
welcome to the forum
great detector you have picked
coiltek Maryborough have training courses there are also others that do them as well others on the forum will be able
to recommend some others
if you have found gold you must be doing something right
study as much info as you can on places you want to detect
go low and slow or miss gold
happy hunting

Hi Mick and welcome to the forum.
You bought a great detector.Simple to use just practically turn on and go.
Lead shot magnet but also plenty of little nuggets.
Dig everything.
Enjoy your new toy.
If you need any help with it ask the questions.

Re: newbie mick
just a question about the sdc should I just stick to old workings or can I try working new ground or gullies? I haven't found anything at much depth yet, the spec and lead have been very close to surface

Hi Mick,
Diggings are great place to start and also surfaced area.
Few nuggets there if you patient and persistent.
They might be small but they add up.
