Which detector is the best for the beach
Hi Guy's, i am new to coin hunting and would love to hear from people about which detector would be the best all rounder for coin hunting.

There are too many models to list that would do the job your looking to do...but only two that i favor that will see you finding stuff as soon as you turn it on and give it a ground balance. Its as simple as that...most other makes and models will have you reading the manual over an over again till you familiarize yourself with the menus and functions.
Very easy to use and certainly not toys...both have found us gold nuggets while looking for coins.

How good on the beach?
Thanks Narrawa for your reply, how would you rate it on the beach as far as depth goes and can it be used in the shallow water i know the unit is not waterproof .

They work very well on the beach going by all the vids...and i can tell this just by listening to the fact there is no falsing from the detector....plus i use one myself....not on the beach but in the bush.

Minelab Explorer SE pro. Have used it on the beach for years now. Runs very smooth wet sand/dry sand. With no problems at all. Excellent discrimination.
