Go Find series - Are they worth the money ???
I see that minelabs have released a much cheaper range of detectors.
Go Find (click here) -> Go Find link
They look like a cheaper SDC 2300.
I cant find the price for any of them
Anyone know the pricing on these new MDs ???
Anyone had a go with one ???
Are they better than a SDC 2300 ???

There are 3 models - 20/40/60, with respective prices of $199, $299, $399.
Edit: No where near an SDC performance and only coin & relic (no good for gold), the cost should give an indication of how good they are versus other Minelab machines, so purely entry level, maybe to get kids interested while on holidays, etc..

While in the Maryborough shop last week i had a quick gander at one, they are a very basic coin & relic detector, definitely
not for gold prospecting, flimsy pull out arm rest and very light.
The fitted coil is a weird looker, not a DD or concentric but looks like a mono with only windings around the outside, could be a new concentric
configuration, not sure, and neither where the boys in M/borough.
Target tones where very "Piezoelectric speaker" sounding and cheap ars sounding.
Bottom of the range started at $199.

Thanks for confirming this, I actually was thinking it was missing a 0 from the price.
I'm guessing they are the marketing departments MD's, now no one can say the ML MDs are so expensive.

It was a sales dummy detector, everything worked except the blue tooth iphone connection to it
and the screen display, otherwise it was as is being released.
