hi all just wondering does anyone elses 7000 when you are adjusting for example the audio tuning or threshold that you can not go up or down 1 number at a time. my 7000 jumps like 5 each way.
is this the norm?
cheers

G'day hoolahoopa,

I have not noticed mine doing this it usually only goes 1 at a time, but I usually only press on the button once with my thumb and let it go, but I think if you were to hold your thumb on the button it will go up/down until you take your thumb off the button. Not sure if this is what you mean or does yours jump up/down quickly before you get a chance to take your thumb off the button. I will have another play with mine tomorrow and see what happens.

Cheers.

Mike.

yep press it once it jumps up 5, definitively not holding it mike.
it annoys me mainly because i can never really set the threshold for example spot on.
i am going to a training day tomorrow so i will discuss it with them i did call minelab today and they had not heard of this with anyone else.
will keep you informed

Ok that will be good and I hope there is nothing serious happening with your 7000. Good luck with it tomorrow.

Cheers.

And if you are doing a manual tune adjustment the up/down buttons will jump 25 per push.

Thanks for that I was wondering about this the other day, trying to fine tune the threshold.
