Gpz and pick Empty Gpz and pick

So what's everyone doing with their pick when using the control arm on the gpz ? It's not like your can use your free arm to sling it over your shoulder . I have mine on my waist in a holder and it picks up my pick when I swing to the pick side, thinking I need some kind of back mount like a battle axe Shocked , any ideas guys

Get 6 to 12" of webbing and place a super-magnet on one end and attach the other end high up on your harness. Place the head of the pick on the magnet. This will hold your pick high and is quick to mount and remove pick when needed.

Exactly Jen! Same as you do when using a big coil on the gpx.

[quote="Musket" it picks up my pick when I swing to the pick side, [/quote]

I have a metal rod from my left knee to my left ankle and the ZED picks it up when I swing to the left also.
No other detector coil combo has done this before.
I have learnt to co-ordinate my swing with my forward motion.
.

As for the pick, I place it in a conspicuous place and detect 50m arc around it, pick it up, move on and repeat..
