NAPFA AGM AT HILL END ON 14TH FEBRUARY.
On or around 10 January, all NAPFA members were sent an email or a letter if no email advising of the AGM.
I hope to see as many members there as possible.
Here is an extract from that communication with the details.
I have also posted the Newsletter onto the web under the newsletter section, where you can also get the committee nomination form.
Official notification NAPFA Annual General Meeting
The AGM for the membership year 2013/14 will be held at the
• Shelter Shed, Glendora Caravan Park/camping area Hill End, NSW
• Saturday 14th February at 2:00PM
Please bring – your membership card, a chair and a cool drink.
Note this is the same location where we held the previous AGM.
Committee nominations are also being called.
Use the form that is in the newsletter on the NAPFA website.
Positions that must be filled are:
• President
• Vice President
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Ordinary Committee Members x 3
We are a volunteer organisation and rely on the enthusiasm, organisation and dedication of the committee to achieve our goals.
If we cannot fill the committee, then NAPFA may cease to exist.
So if you have the capability to help, now is the time to Step-Up. NOMINATE BY 5 FEBRUARY PLEASE.
Normally work of committee members is not too difficult but it is important that you are an active email user; willing and able to contribute in writing or in meetings and willing to take an active interest in understanding and promoting the goals of NAPFA among fossickers and the community at large.
It is essential that committee members be able to work tactfully and constructively with other committee members and conduct themselves in a proper way.
Nominations may be invited from those attending the AGM, if no nominations for those positions have been received prior. You can nominate yourself.
THERE WILL ALSO BE A LUCKY DOOR PRIZE OF A MINI GOLD CONCENTRATOR, THANKS TO CRESSWELL ENGINEERING!
See you there!
Regards
Stephen

Re: NAPFA AGM AT HILL END ON 14TH FEBRUARY.
Hi Stephen I personally won't be there mate, but good luck with your AGM and I hope ALL positions are filled, as NAPFA will depend on it. NAPFA has come a long way, with your termination and enery since it's starting and to see it go up in a puff of smoke we be a shame specially for prospectors living and detecting in NSW. So guys get behind Steve and what he and NAPFA has been fighting for and continue with the fight and keep your goldfields open, join your committee and fight on. Your goldfield and your enjoyment of prospecting in NSW depend on it
