NAPFA at new shop opening in Canberra 14th Dec
NEW DETECTOR SHOP IN CANBERRA OPENS 14 DECEMBER
Heads up that there is a new detector shop “Detect a Den” opening in Canberra on 14 December. It is a sister shop to the Detect a Den shop in Bateman’s Bay.
NAPFA will have a presence at the opening and will be available to sign-up new members on the spot and to take orders for tickets in the big raffle as well.
The address is 1/74 Townsville Street, Fyshwick. There will be a sausage sizzle and Demos as well at the Grand Opening.
So if you are in cooee of Canberra, then come along and say hi to Terry the owner and his team and check out their specials!
Hope to see you there. cheer steve.

Opening went well
CONGRATULATIONS TO DETECT A DEN
The openiing of the new Detect a den shop in Canberra went well today. Lots of visitors and sales so Terry the new owner was happy. NAPFA - myself and Treasurer John Standfort were there to wave the flag and we signed up about 20 new members which was great. A lot of exisiting members also came to say hello -- and it was nice to meet them.
We now have over 600 members in a year which we are happy about but we would like to at least double that by this time next year. More members will give us more clout, as simple as that.
Terry also put some prizes into our Massive fundraising / membership raffle -- a profind pinpointer and a minelab detector bag.
That takes to prize pool to over $9000. New members get two free $10 tickets in the raffle and exisiting members and others can buy tickets for $10. Joining NAPFA costs $20 and you will be financial until June 2015.
Check our website www.napfa.net for all the details about the promotion including a full list of prizes -- that has both a GPX5000 and an X-Terra 705 on offer.
Picture taken at lunchtime today -- me on the left, Terry Lemon the owner in the middle, and John Standfort the NAPFA Tresurer. '
Cheers
Stephen Dangaard NAPFA President.
